Welcome to the homepage of the Study Abroad Programme.

The programme has a long standing reputation for quality and excellence. It is designed to allow overseas students to study with us for one of three flexible study options, covering periods of time, ranging from 12 to 38 weeks. An extensive range of courses is available, covering the arts and humanities, social sciences and sciences. These courses are demanding and intellectually stimulating and are taught by highly qualified faculty, often leading specialists within their field.

Study Abroad students are guaranteed campus accommodation in single, en suite and networked rooms which are just a few minutes walk from the academic departments. Student support is an important feature and there is a comprehensive range of welfare support available, including a dedicated Study Abroad Advisor in every department.

We believe that experiencing different cultures is a key aspect of Study Abroad and as such, you will be fully integrated, in all aspects of university life, with other overseas and UK students. We have over 30 years of experience in welcoming Study Abroad students, and pride ourselves on offering a programme in the best tradition of British university education.
